We are proud to share exciting news from the City of Norfolk’s public art community.
Three artists currently featured in Aspire Art Gallery’s Year-End Show — Deborah Branch, Ralph Thomas, and Clayton Singleton — have been selected for inclusion in the City of Norfolk’s Southside Utility Box Art Wrap Project.
This highly competitive initiative, presented by the Norfolk Arts Commission, places original artwork by local artists on vinyl wraps installed on utility signal boxes throughout South Norfolk. The project brings art directly into the public realm, transforming everyday infrastructure into accessible, neighborhood-centered works of art.
Each selected artist’s work will become part of the city’s streetscape, contributing to Norfolk’s ongoing commitment to supporting local artists and expanding public access to the arts.
We are honored to represent Deborah Branch, Ralph Thomas, and Clayton Singleton at Aspire Art Gallery and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition. Their inclusion in this citywide project is a meaningful achievement — and a testament to the strength of the artists currently exhibiting in our gallery.
📍 See their work now as part of Aspire Art Gallery’s Year-End Show, on view at 645 Church Street, Norfolk.
