Michael Logan

Michael Logan was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Maury High School and studied Visual Arts at the Governor’s School for the Arts. Logan then moved to New York to study Visual Art at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. 

After graduating he returned to Norfolk and began his career as an art teacher at Ingleside Elementary School. He also returned to his alma mater where he served as a teacher and staff member at the Governor’s School for Arts’ Visual Arts department. 

Logan is currently working as an art teacher at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters’ Hospital School Program, as well as a professional artist. He continues to create and exhibit his art locally and beyond.
